Steve Phillips - Bad Water Rising
Available now on iTunes only

A one off treat for the collector and the fan, from the guitar of the master.
This is one unusual recording, being Steve's first MP3 release available for download. The blues master makes a rare departure from CD quality sound to enter the the new digital age, with this song, 'Bad Water Rising', from that most traditional genre of music, blues. We're not certain how long this will be here, so grab it while you can guys.

The Naturals - Whistle 'n' Ride
Available now on CD

Barney is a well respected and much loved musician who pulls everyone together with his heartfelt songs. He has been song writing for 25 years, in which time he has built a close following of dedicated fans who have decided it is time to spread the word. His writing incorporates all styles including, soft jazz, folk rock and country-blues. Those of us who have had the pleasure of watching this modest man perform, know that whatever he plays, he always stays true to character and keeps his own personal style.
In recent years he has teamed up with his son Dan, who has complimented his dad’s originality with his own sparkle, and together with friends they have secured the sound that has become The Naturals.

Steve Phillips & The Rough Diamonds - Live at the Grosvenor
Available now on CD

For a man whose career is seen to be so inextricably intertwined with the more commercially known, and perhaps aware, Mark Knopfler, Steve Phillips is still very much his own man, as well as a blistering brilliant blues guitarist. Very much a musician's musician, although also one that the cognoscenti in the fanbase are not anxious to keep quiet about, this album is a total rarity, a live showcase of his work.
Recorded in less politically correct surroundings than those allowed these days, this set was captured on a Sony cassette deck that normally sat betwixt a cigarette and a pint of beer. If you believe the old song title that 'you can't play the blues in an air conditioned room', then this is for you, blues as it should be, played by a master

The complete Trilogy of Gary Woods Australian Country Classics
Gary Woods - Tapestry of Love
Available now on CD & iTunes

Tapestry of Love
Gary Woods, previously known for his two stage musicals, took a trip to Nashville in August 2006 and came back a writer of classic country songs. Not only that, but he also attracted the alumni of the country world, to record and produce the resulting albums, including this one. Vocalist Mike Lusk, a county star in his own right as well as Loretta Lynn's back up singer, fronts the album whilst Stacy Hogan produces.
Gary Woods - Between Drinks
Available now on CD & soon on iTunes

Between Drinks
A holiday is a good time for reflection and analysis. For Gary it was no different, sailing around the Adriatic, he ruminated on the major issues of the day and then set them down in song, alongside the traditional themes of modern country music.
A thoughtful album, a thought provoking album, in the best tradition of America's folk tradition.
Gary Woods - Ticket Outta Town
Available now on CD & soon on iTunes

Ticket Outta Town
Gary's creative juices seem to thrive on water. Ticket Outta Town, ironically a 'land title' was the first album actually more or less put to bed, creatively, on water. The warm summer waters of Australia, the company of good friends, it all led to this very creative holiday for Gary and what a result it spawned.

Deaf In One Eye - Still Waters
Available now on CD & iTunes

We are very pleased to bring you a special CD Single, produced for the Cutty Sark foundation, Deaf In One Eye. The band are from Suffolk, and are releasing a song about the recent plight of the world famous London landmark and monument, the Cutty Sark.
Following the devastating fire that damaged much of the hull of the ship on the 21st May 2007, the current restoration project has had to be extended and is of course going to require substantially more funding. The band wanted to contribute a little to the cause and decided to write the song Still Waters. They are donating proceeds from sales of the CD single and are hoping to help bring the plight of the Cutty Sark back into the public eye.
Steve Gardiner, Dave Crawte and Will Crawte, founder members of the band, wrote and recorded the song and contacted The Cutty Sark Trust, who were very keen to support the idea. With the backing and support of the Trust behind them, the band has managed to get the artwork, printing, mastering and production of the CD single mostly free of charge, meaning of course, that more money will go to the Trust.
With a prospective release date of the 3rd of September 2007, the band already has a local TV interview set up and is hoping to get as much other media coverage as possible to help promote the project. This is where you can help! The band members are of course ready and willing to do any interviews wherever possible to promote the single. More at their MySpace page: www.myspace.com/deafinoneeyemusic
If you would like to help contribute to the cause and need to contact the band, please call Dave on 07881 612093 or email dave@crawte.com
